Salathiel utilizes strength based approaches to develop healthy coping skills and interpersonal effectiveness. Sal believes success is built on people having their health and educational needs met. He strives to connect clients to tools and resources they need to build a firm foundation for their lives.

Sal is trained in Rapid Resolution Therapy® (RRT), a specialized therapy for trauma that utilizes innovative concepts, multi-level communication and specialized tools to resolve emotional disturbance and maladaptive behavior. RRT changes how the unconscious mind processes information so that improvements are natural, automatic and lasting. RRT is painless. It is typically completed within one to three online or in-person meetings. RRT is fast, painless and complete. The strategic process resolves troubling thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Training & Experience
Salathiel started in the field of mental health in 2001 at Crossroad Children's Home. Since then he has also worked at Easter Seals Arc of Northeast Indiana, Park Center, and Bowen Center. Salathiel was drawn to counseling through his undergraduate studies of psychology at IPFW and discovering a passion and talent for working with children and adolescents. After graduating from IPFW with a bachelor's degree in psychology, Salathiel continued his studies at the University of Saint Francis to earn his master's degree in mental health counseling.
Since graduating from Saint Francis, Salathiel has specialized in assessment, school based intervention and consultation, and training other professionals. Salathiel utilizes strength-based approaches to develop healthy coping skills and interpersonal effectiveness. Salathiel believes success is built on people having their health and educational needs met. He strives to connect clients to tools and resources they need to build a firm foundation for their lives.

Salathiel's training includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling. He is also a lifelong student of martial arts including Thai Boxing, Silat, Kali, and Wing Chun Gung Fu. When not working, Salathiel enjoys reading, drawing, exercising, and cooking.
