Amber Sewell, LMHCA
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Tampa in 2005 and my master’s degree in counseling from Adler Graduate School in 2022.
I believe that everyone possesses the capacity for growth and positive change. The therapeutic relationship is a sacred space in which to support individuals in a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment so that they can evolve to become who they wish to be. I believe this is accomplished by developing insight through exploring strengths, developing healthy coping skills, and processing stressful and traumatic life events. Because we process our experiences mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically, I believe in a holistic approach to health and wellbeing which incorporates mindfulness, cultural awareness, somatic practices, encouragement, and other evidence-based practices. I am also trained in EMDR. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of mental health issues including trauma, depression, anxiety, identity issues, grief, transitions, and life challenges. I am excited and honored to be a part of your healing journey. Schedule with me by clicking below.

I am also a certified yoga instructor and have enjoyed teaching trauma-informed community and private classes since 2017. I teach a gentle yoga class Mondays at 9:30am at Simply Yoga.
