Arielle Holler, BS

Counseling Intern

(Supervised by Erin Bowman, PhD, HSPP)

I believe that healing begins within a genuine therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe, understood, and accepted without judgment. Seeking counseling is a courageous step, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside individuals as they explore their experiences, deepen self-awareness, and foster lasting growth.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in International Relations from Indiana University and am currently completing my Master's degree in School and Mental Health Counseling at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. As a counseling intern, I strive to provide a warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive environment where each client's unique story, strengths, and lived experiences are honored.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, grounded primarily in Gestalt Therapy while drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, attachment theory, somatic approaches, and trauma-informed care. I believe our relationships, lived experiences, and even our bodies hold valuable information about who we are and how we move through the world. Together, we can explore patterns that may no longer serve you, increase present-moment awareness, and gently work through unresolved experiences or "unfinished business" that may continue to influence your current relationships, emotions, and sense of self.

My clinical interests include trauma, attachment, anxiety, depression, grief, identity development, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and the ways past experiences shape present functioning. I have a particular passion for supporting individuals healing from trauma and am pursuing specialized training toward certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am also interested in integrating somatic approaches into therapy, recognizing the important connection between the mind and body throughout the healing process.

Above all, I believe that every individual possesses an innate capacity for resilience and growth. My role is not to tell clients who they should become, but to provide a compassionate space where they can reconnect with themselves, discover new perspectives, and move toward living more authentically.

Outside of the counseling room, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, attending live music events, exploring nature, and learning from different cultures and perspectives. I look forward to meeting you where you are and supporting you on your journey toward healing, resilience, and personal growth.

As a counseling intern, I do not bill insurance but am able to offer sessions at at reduced rate of $25 per session. Schedule with me by clicking below.
