Jessica Schacher, MSEd, LMHCA

Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate

I completed my Master of Science in Education with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Purdue University-Fort Wayne in 2022.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is important to the counseling process, it is important that clients feel supported in a nonjudgmental atmosphere. I believe my role within the therapeutic relationship is to walk alongside you providing encouragement and support as we explore the path ahead. As your therapist, I can help you to: identify strengths, develop coping skills, process stressful and traumatic events, enhance the mind-body connection, identify and process conditions of worth, enhance authenticity, develop insight, and more. I use my experience with music therapy to bring in expression and creativity when possible.

I primarily offer individual and couples counseling with adults and teens. I integrate aspects of Humanistic and Existential perspective, somatic approaches, and CBT to help clients with mental health concerns including: depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, trauma, adjustment/stress, relational/communication issues, and issues related to sexuality and identity.

The decision to seek counseling isn't always easy and the process of growth and change can be hard. I believe everyone deserves the chance to grow and be the best version of themselves, and everyone deserves to have the support they need within the process. If anything here has resonated with you, please reach out and schedule a time to meet.
